i stayed three nights. decor in common spaces to the room is distinctly 'neo-renaissance'. i love the rich walnut tones and dark turquoise or cerulean palate. my room was reasonably spacious and spotlessly clean. minibar items were complimentary, also replenished daily.

i felt that the happy hour should have been timed later.

The rooms were super clean. I especially liked the great bathroom. breakfast was excellent, i found many options. the hotel's interior was beautiful and felt cozy to me.

The bar was slightly disappointing. I felt the whisky was overpriced for the serving size i received.

the breakfast was really fabulous. there was even port included. the staff were really helpful, especially joachin. he were very good too ensure my requests were satisfied.

i have stayed here three times and the quality has decreased. i noticed it is mostly used by large tour groups, so be prepared for that. issues like squeaky beds and slamming doors early in the morning occurred.

i requested my final bill be forwarded to me but never received it. it has been five days since i checked out. i believe the management should prioritize the customer more.
